play-testing at victory point cafe!

Had an excellent time playtesting the game over at Victory Point Cafe's Designer's Night last Wednesday.  I hadn't been to their space before, and I have to say it's really excellent.  I highly recommend it to anyone in the bay area looking for a good place to sit and play.  Nice clean design.  Warm environment.  Good food.  Lots of enthusiastic gaming going on, and the "Designer's Night" area was well attended.  I'd guess there were about 15-18 of us designers/testers?

Two new players got a chance to run through the Ruins level.  Unfortunately, they were caught short when they went up against the first Stair Guardian.

Feedback from those two was superb.  Substantial, thoughtful, and very constructive.  Just perfect.  I've already put some changes into the Heroes and Map Tiles for my next testing this coming Tuesday at Backerkit.  

It's fantastic to have this playtesting venue, and the Backerkit option, each occuring once a month.  Sets me up on a good cycle.
